I found desert beauty yesterday in my travels through new terrain. Awesome. I packed in a hurry (making a quick jump on a job opportunity), and I can't find my 'good' camera. Lost in my stuff, I suppose. So, gotta use Ol' Scratchy for now, until I can get home and sort things out. But,... even through an imperfect lens the beauty shows through. Could there be a metaphor here?
Fog Clearing
Been there, done that, too many times in too many places. Or just enough, because I've learned what really matters. I had thought I knew how things were supposed to be. I didn't. The fog is clearing now. To have real value requires living a real life. Simple,...not easy. But worth it. 'Oorah!

I like the photo. Where is the location it was taken?
This photo was taken just off the highway in southern Utah, about 100 miles north of St. George, if I remember right. If I'd panned the camera around to the side a bit, I would have caught the still snow-capped peaks in the distance. Beautiful.
